5 stars: BEAUTIFUL. LOVED EVERY PAGE.
4 - 4.5 stars: a good read, had minor elements i didn't like or didn't make sense to me.
3 - 3.5 stars: felt lukewarm as i read the book. it wasn't bad or exceptionally good either.
2 - 2.5 stars: the book is not for me, but i powered through
1 - 1.5 stars: basically a turned to a hate read. didn't dnf due to sheer stubbornness.
my reading journey
i loved reading as a child because i was grew up surrounded by books - my dad loved reading too!
fave childhood book (and movie): harry potter 🧙🏻
as i grew up, i got interested to other things like kpop that my focus naturally shifted away from books. still, i picked up a few books especially during wattpad's peak (my favorite book is campus royalties by purpleyhan!). my world grew bigger when i entered university that I dropped reading as hobby completely.
on july 20, 2025:
i randomly downloaded the bookmory app and decided to read jennifer millikin's here for the cake. i loved the book and i loved the timer feature of bookmory that it got me back to reading again.
